Karen is the Business Manager at Co-Lab Engineering, where she leads key operational areas, including HR, Finance, IT, and Training. With a career spanning banking, housing, E-commerce, and now engineering, Karen brings a diverse set of skills and extensive experience in managing complex operations in fast-paced, highly regulated environments.

Karen began her career in banking, working as a Senior Personal Banking Manager for Lloyds Bank, where she developed strong skills in customer service, relationship management, and financial planning. She later transitioned into housing as a Care Coordinator, gaining valuable expertise in compliance and team coordination. Her passion for business management grew further during her time as an Operations Manager for an E-commerce furniture company, where she drove efficiency and streamlined operations.

At Co-Lab Engineering, Karen’s proactive approach to problem-solving, combined with her ability to balance strategic planning and day-to-day management, ensures the organisation operates smoothly and effectively. She is passionate about creating a supportive environment for both staff and clients, always striving to foster collaboration and deliver results.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys exploring the Lake District. She also has a longstanding passion for property and interior design, having successfully renovated multiple properties.
